Dr. Fredric Posner, Ph.D.
Fredric "Rick" Posner, Ph.D. has a background in open, democratic , alternative schools as well as special education. His dissertation (1989) was entitled A Study of Self-Directed Learning, Perceived Competence, and Personal Orientation Among Students in an Open, Alternative High School. Rick is currently working on a book about the lives of the graduates from Jefferson County Open School in Lakewood, Colorado called Lives of Passion, Schools of Hope. Areas of interest and study include:
